R-form alpha lipoic acid powder is a medical food for use in the dietary management of mitochondrial cytopathies. It may only be purchased on behalf of individuals under medical supervision and current medical care.
This formulation consists of a sodium-stabilized and concentrated R-form of Alpha Lipoic Acid powder, featuring superior absorption. The R-form is the natural form of lipoic acid made by the body. For this reason, it is better recognized and utilized by the body.
Cyto RALA is free of GMOs and allergen tested at No Detectable Level (NDL) for eggs, dairy, gluten, corn, fish, crustacean, soy, tree nuts, and peanut. This product is meant to be used under the supervision of a healthcare professional. It is not for the general population of consumers.

Directions for Use
Cyto RALA is soluble in formula and can be consumed either orally or via tube feeding. The daily intake of Cyto RALA is to be determined by your physician or dietitian.
Measure (using the scoop provided or a gram scale) the recommended amount of Cyto RALA powder.
Consume powder by either sprinkling on food or into liquids, or taking directly by mouth followed with water.
For tube feeding, add powder in single scoop increments to the formula (room temperature or cold) and stir well. Stir or agitate tube feeding mixture if Cyto RALA separates from formula during feeding. Cyto RALA powder and formula mixture should be used within 4 hours.
Unopened bottles should be kept in a cool, dry place. Reseal unopened bottles, store in a refrigerator and use within three months.
