Encala® is a specialized, plant-based medical food formulated to help individuals with CF and other exocrine pancreatic disorders better absorb dietary fat and fat-soluble nutrients. Mixing Encala® into meals, snacks, or beverages (such as smoothies) can increase your overall intake of healthy fat, calories, essential fatty acids, and key vitamins, supporting growth, nutritional health, and improved quality of life.

Who Should Use Encala®?
Encala® is recommended for adults and children over three months of age. It should be used under medical supervision and is not intended for infant formula or breast milk. It may be mixed with infant formula or breast milk to increase caloric content from 20Kcal/oz to up to 29Kcal/oz.
