How much Solace Nutrition Cholextra® t/f should I take each day?

As with all Solace Nutrition products, daily intake should be determined by your healthcare professional.

Can Cholextra® t/f be used in a tube feeding?

Yes, Cholextra® t/f is dispersible in a powder formula designed for use in tube feeding. It can also be taken orally.

How should I consume Cholextra® t/f?

Measure the amount of powder recommended by your healthcare professional using the scoop in the container or by using a gram scale. This Medical Food may be consumed orally or tube feeding. Consume the powder by either sprinkling on food, mixing into moist foods or liquids, or taking directly by mouth followed with water.

How should Cholextra® t/f be stored?

Unopened bottles of our cholesterol powder should be kept in a cool, dry place. Reseal opened bottles, and use them within three months.

How much cholesterol is in Cholextra® t/f?

Each jar contains 3.88 oz (110 g) powder which provides 0.97 oz (27.5 g) cholesterol; one level scoop delivers 2.6 grams of powder containing 650 mg of cholesterol.

What are the ingredients in Cholextra® t/f?

Cholesterol, dextrin, oleic acid, potassium bicarbonate, gum acacia, vitamin E, and sucrose.

Is Cholextra® t/f nutritionally complete?

No, Cholextra® t/f should not be used as a sole source of nutrition. It is meant to be used for the dietary management of cholesterol in conjunction with other sources of nutrients.

Does Cholextra® t/f contain calories?

Yes, Solace Nutrition’s Cholextra® t/f contains some fat and carbohydrates. Each gram of powder contains 2.8 kcal from 200 mg of fat and 250 mg of carbohydrate.

Does Cholextra® t/f contain allergens?

This medical food is allergen tested at No Detectable Limit (NDL) for egg, dairy, fish, crustacean, corn, soy, gluten, tree nuts, and peanut.
