Description

Cytotine® is a patented, pH stabilized creatine monohydrate-based Medical Food designed to increase energy. Cytotine® improves adenosine triphosphate (ATP) production (energy production) in the human body. Cytotine® is converted in the body to Phosphocreatine, an anaerobic precursor to ATP. This medical food generates extra energy (ATP) in individuals with mitochondrial disorders along the most important metabolic pathway in the electron transport chain (ETC).

Cytotine® is allergen tested at No-Detectable Limit (NDL) for eggs, dairy, fish, crustacean, soy, gluten, corn, tree nuts, and peanut. Vegetarian and free of GMO and BSE.

Ingredients

Water, Glycerin, Kre-Alkalyn® (buffered creatine monohydrate), Natural & Artificial Flavors, Xanthan Gum, Potassium Sorbate, FD&C Yellow #6, Silicon Dioxide, and FD&C Red #40. 

Directions for Use

Daily intake to be determined by your healthcare professional specialized in Mitochondrial disorders. It is formulated to be consumed or administered enterally under the supervision of a physician. 

Cytotine® may be consumed two ways – orally or via tube feeding. Each tablespoon (15 mL) of Cytotine® contains 1.5 g of creatine. 

  1. Measure your daily recommended amount of creatine
  2. If tube feeding, add liquid directly to formula or deliver directly using a dosing syringe
  3. If oral feeding, consume directly from the spoon or add to your favorite beverage

Storage

All bottles should be kept in a cool, dry place. Once the bottle has been opened, use it within one month.
