Description

CholexMAX® is a Medical Food containing pure cholesterol. It is a pure, non-flavored, enteral powdered form of cholesterol for individuals with sterol disorders who cannot obtain the recommended intake of cholesterol through a regular diet.

CholexMAX® is free of GMOs, artificial flavorings, and any preservatives. This product is allergen tested at No-Detectable Limit (NDL) for eggs, dairy, fish, crustacean, soy, gluten, corn, tree nuts, and peanut.

Directions for Use

CholexMAX® is not readily soluble but can be mixed into foods or thick liquids. The daily intake of CholexMAX® powder is to be determined by your physician or dietitian.

  1. Measure (using the scoop provided or a gram scale) the recommended amount of powder.
  2. For oral consumption, consume powder by either sprinkling on food or into liquids, or taken directly by mouth followed with water.

Storage

Unopened bottles should be kept in a cool, dry place. Reseal unopened bottles and use within three months.

Warning

Not for parenteral use. Not for use as a sole source of nutrition. Only for individuals with cholesterol synthesis disorders. Use under medical supervision.
