How much CytoCarn® powder should I take each day?

Daily intake should be determined by your healthcare professional specializing in mitochondrial or metabolic disorders.

What type of Carnitine is used in CytoCarn®?

CytoCarn® uses pure Acetyl L-Carnitine powder. Each gram of powder delivers 800mg of L-Carnitine

How much L-Carnitine is in one bottle?

The bottle contains 150 grams of Acetyl L-Carnitine. This delivers 120 grams of pure L-Carnitine.

Is there a scoop in the bottle?

Yes, each bottle contains a scoop that delivers 1 gram of powder, which includes 800mg of L-Carnitine.

Does CytoCarn® contain allergens?

CytoCarn® is allergen tested at No Detectable Limit (NDL) for egg, dairy, fish, wheat, corn, soy, tree nuts, and peanut.

How should I consume CytoCarn®?

Using the scoop, measure the recommended amount of CytoCarn®. Consume directly by mouth or add to juices, beverages or sprinkle on top of or mix with food. It can also be added to tube feeding formulas.

Can CytoCarn® be tube fed?

Yes, the powder is soluble and will readily suspend in formulas.

What are the ingredients in CytoCarn®?

It is made only from acetyl L-carnitine.

Is CytoCarn® nutritionally complete?

No, it contains acetyl L-carnitine only. It is not a source of macronutrients or other vitamins and minerals. CytoCarn® should not be used as a sole source of nutrition.
